S-Tier 4K from 20th Century Studios. The steelbook and the Christmas movie debate come up every single time. The Zavvi steelbook in particular gets a lot of love.

S-Tier Deltamac 4K with a 4.5 score. Tarantino's defining film, and the 4K announcement was met with enormous excitement. Someone ordered from Best Buy and received an unsealed copy with no disc inside, which became its own little saga. The steelbook front art was disliked while the back and inside were praised. Tarantino personally approved the transfer.

Following an unexpected tragedy, child psychologist Malcolm Crowe meets a nine year old boy named Cole Sear, who is hiding a dark secret.

In the year 2035, convict James Cole reluctantly volunteers to be sent back in time to discover the origin of a deadly virus that wiped out nearly all of the earth's population and forced the survivors into underground communities. But when Cole is mistakenly sent to 1990 instead of 1996, he's arrested and locked up in a mental hospital. There he meets psychiatrist Dr. Kathryn Railly and the son of a famous virus expert who may hold the key to the Army of the 12 Monkeys; thought to be responsible for unleashing the killer disease.

A-Tier Kino Lorber 4K. The original Charles Bronson vigilante film. Kino has the 4K.

A-Tier Criterion 4K. Wes Anderson's New England romance. Available in the Wes Anderson Archive box set or as a standalone Criterion 4K. The box set is divisive, with some people calling it an ugly eyesore and others loving it at 50% off. The Royal Tenenbaums disc in the set has a known issue during the cemetery scene that Criterion will replace.

Lionsgate 4K, 2-disc set. Goes on sale regularly at Best Buy and Amazon for around $10 USD. The transfer is fine for a mid-budget action comedy and the cast of Willis, Malkovich, Mirren, and Freeman makes it an easy catalog pickup.

A-Tier but there are two different versions floating around and people mix them up constantly. The Sony US release and the StudioCanal UK release are different masters, and the StudioCanal disc looks better. Both the standard and steelbook StudioCanal editions use the same disc, so the packaging doesn't matter for picture quality. If you're buying this, get the UK StudioCanal version.
StudioCanal · 4K + Blu-ray
Shyamalan's Unbreakable trilogy closer with a B-Tier transfer that's a step down from what the cinematography deserves. The film divides people but the disc sells steadily because Unbreakable and Split fans want the complete set.
