Severin's 4K lacks HDR by Jodorowsky's explicit request. He felt the color grade would not be truly director-approved with HDR applied, and Severin respected that. The disc delivers the color work at 4K resolution alone. Collectors are more excited about the packaging and the included CD soundtrack than the technical specs. The real demand in Jodorowsky circles is for Holy Mountain and El Topo in 4K.
