A boy is given the ability to become an adult superhero in times of need with a single magic word.
Billy Batson and his foster siblings, who transform into superheroes by saying "Shazam!", are forced to get back into action and fight the Daughters of Atlas, who they must stop from using a weapon that could destroy the world.
The director found out about the 4K release on social media and offered to record a free commentary track for it. Warner Bros. apparently didn't take him up on it. The disc has a known mastering issue where the black levels are raised, which is a serious problem for a horror film that relies on darkness.
