A-Tier Warner Bros. 4K. WB is doing the first Lethal Weapon solo in 4K, and everyone is waiting for the inevitable quadrilogy box set before buying in. The original Blu-ray was rough, so this remaster with Atmos is a real upgrade. The steelbook is $29.99 USD on GRUV, and the standard edition art actually looks better than the steel.

People bought the Blu-ray for $6 USD and immediately turned around to buy the 4K anyway. A-Tier holiday film that shows up on everyone's Christmas rotation list alongside Home Alone, Christmas Vacation, and It's a Wonderful Life. Complaints about barebones special features are the only recurring negative. Bill Murray doing his thing is the entire selling point, and the disc delivers on that.

The 4K transfer jumps off the screen according to people watching it this week. A comfort pick that lands in haul posts year after year for the right reasons.
