S-Tier Shout Factory 4K. Clive Barker's detective horror from 1995. Thin current signal, but the original pressing has become an OOP target for people who missed it.

S-Tier Warner Bros. 4K with a 4.5 score. Tobe Hooper's haunted house film, and the Best Buy steelbook art was widely hated. People said the iconic "girl in front of TV" image would have been far better. A Film Vault special edition with The Shining is coming in August 2025, and Shout Factory is releasing Poltergeist II in 4K. Some collectors have been disc-swapping their 4K into older steelbook shells with better art.

Lionsgate S-Tier 4K. Kevin Bacon's 1999 haunted house film that got unfairly overshadowed by The Sixth Sense releasing the same year. The Lionsgate steelbook with lenticular slipcover is an Amazon exclusive that has restocked a few times through Please Rewind. Collectors who own it tend to recommend it enthusiastically.
Shameless Films has a Collector's Edition 4K out March 30. Argento supervised the color timing, Dolby Vision, six hours of extras, serial numbered. Already sold out at Rare Waves. The problem is that Synapse had the cinematographer supervise their transfer and Argento has a different idea of what his film should look like. Worth waiting for comparison shots before buying it twice.

88 Films put out an S-Tier 4K of the 1979 horror. The grain is preserved, the house interiors hold up in HDR, and 88 Films got access to a clean master most US labels didn't bother chasing. Worth tracking down if you missed the original pressing.
