dir. George A. Romero
S-Tier Second Sight Films 4K. Romero's vampire film from 1978, and big news hit when the director's cut was found. Second Sight had a 4K already in the works, and collectors wanted them to delay the release to include the director's cut rather than force a double dip. The Dawn of the Dead treatment is what people are hoping for.

dir. Robert Eggers
S-Tier Universal 4K. Eggers' 2024 Nosferatu, and the BFI 4K release became a controversy when the transfer turned out to be heavily processed with DNR and possible AI smoothing. OrbitDVD's social media went viral telling customers to stop asking them for refunds on a disc they didn't make. The Universal US steelbook from GRUV was pre-ordered in droves after the BFI debacle, and a second steelbook with better artwork and debossing followed.

The Walmart steelbook got attention for its artwork, and not in a good way. Multiple comments flagged it as AI-generated art, with spider legs that don't add up. The film itself is fun but lightweight, and most people paired it with Nosferatu as a double feature pick rather than buying it on its own merits.
