S-Tier Hammer Films 4K. People who held off on the Shout Factory Blu-ray are glad they waited for this. A cult Hammer film that doesn't get talked about enough outside of horror circles.

Criterion Collection · 4K + Blu-ray
dir. Fred Dekker
S-Tier Scream Factory 4K. Fred Dekker's 1986 alien slug horror comedy. It only includes the director's cut, which upset some people who wanted the theatrical. People who held off on the Blu-ray were glad they waited. There was a subtitle error reported on the Shout Factory disc.
dir. Yeon Sang-ho
S-Tier StudioCanal 4K. Train to Busan's sequel. Thin collector discussion, mostly appearing in pre-owned pickup posts.
StudioCanal · 4K + Blu-ray
dir. Stuart Gordon
S-Tier Ignite Films 4K. Stuart Gordon's 1985 horror comedy, and it's had two competing 4K releases. The Arrow Blu-ray was the previous go-to.

Paramount Pictures · 4K + Blu-ray
dir. Edgar Wright
The new 4K steelbook got people hoping the entire Cornetto trilogy would follow. The 4K transfer itself is divisive, with at least one commenter calling the Shaun/Hot Fuzz/World's End set maybe the worst 4K discs they own. Gruv's 3-for-$30 and Amazon deals keep the price reasonable. The Cornetto trilogy 4K set has been as low as $27 USD on Amazon, making it the better value over individual steelbooks.

No 4K scan exists for this one because it was shot on standard definition digital video. The upcoming Sony steelbook is an upscale from 480p source material. The current Blu-ray already looks rough, and the hope is that Sony's upscaling and HDR grading can at least make it watchable. The Raid pulled off a similar trick with low-res source and turned out well.
Sony Pictures · Steelbook
dir. Nia DaCosta
