The reported original 100-minute theatrical cut is not included, which is the single biggest miss of the boxset for fans who hoped Warner would track down the missing footage. The 3D finale is intact in the new transfer and the Atmos remix gives it more presence than the Blu-ray ever had.

New Nightmare gets the original 5.1 mix preserved alongside a new Atmos pass, and the meta-fictional Hollywood-set framing benefits more from the cleaner remaster than the early sequels do.
