20th Century Studios put Tim Burton's 1990 fairy tale on 4K in 2025 as a steelbook-only US release. Disney took the expected flak for not offering a standard case. Both video and audio land near reference for a non-restoration catalog title. The reflective steelbook finish is the best part of the design. The Danny Elfman score finally has the dynamic range for the ice dance scene to land. UK collectors get a standard keep case at the same time.
