Warner's standalone 4K from 2024 remains the best route into the original Elm Street, and bestblurays calls it. The 40th Anniversary UK Steelbook from October 2024 adds a rigid slipcase, double-sided foldout poster, art cards, and a numbered booklet for premium presentation. The 7-Film Collection boxset from September 2025 adds both theatrical and uncut versions plus two new featurettes (Boiler Room Confessional, Freddy's Footnotes), though no new commentaries.

Available on 4K only via Warner's 7 Film Collection boxset from September 2025. The remaster is a clear visual upgrade over the Blu-ray, with the original theatrical mix included alongside a new Atmos pass that adds unfamiliar sound effects. No new commentary or deleted scenes despite the director helping with the remaster.
Warner Bros. · 4K Box Set (7 Film Collection)
dir. Chuck Russell
Available on 4K only via Warner's 7 Film Collection boxset from September 2025. Dokken's Dream Warriors music video is included on the disc, though some collectors have flagged subtle playback-speed drift versus the original master. Atmos remix is the new theatrical option, with the original mono and 5.1 tracks also included.

Available on 4K only via Warner's 7 Film Collection boxset from September 2025. Strong remaster of one of the most stylish entries in the series, with the new HDR grade letting the Dream Master's neon-and-fog cinematography land properly for the first time on home video. Atmos and original theatrical tracks both available.
dir. Stephen Hopkins
Available on 4K only via Warner's 7 Film Collection boxset from September 2025. The big win is the uncut footage finally in HD, after decades where collectors only had access to it via VHS. The remastered footage is integrated cleanly with the rest of the cut, and the visual upgrade across the makeup effects is the reason to upgrade beyond the Blu-ray.
dir. Rachel Talalay
Available on 4K only via Warner's 7 Film Collection boxset from September 2025. The reported original 100-minute theatrical cut is not included, which is the single biggest miss of the boxset for fans who hoped Warner would track down the missing footage. The 3D finale is intact in the new transfer and the Atmos remix gives it more presence than the Blu-ray ever had.
Available on 4K only via Warner's 7 Film Collection boxset from September 2025. New Nightmare gets the original 5.1 mix preserved alongside a new Atmos pass, and the meta-fictional Hollywood-set framing benefits more from the cleaner remaster than the early sequels do. Boiler Room Confessional touches on this film alongside the others.
