Shout Factory's 2025 4K landed badly. The steelbook artwork got dragged the day it leaked, with people calling it AI slop and asking why nobody just used the original poster. The standard slipcase Collector's Edition was the alternative most people went with. New 35mm scan, Dolby Vision, Tom Shadyac's old commentary carries over. Sequel demand is loud but Shout hasn't bitten yet.

Via Vision is doing the first 4K of Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls from a fresh 35mm camera negative scan, with Dolby Vision and HDR10 in 2.39:1 plus DTS-HD 5.1 and an LPCM 2.0 stereo track. The Steelbook sits inside a numbered Lenticular Hardcase with a 48-page hardcover booklet and a 449x665mm poster. Pre-orders open May 12 for the 2026-06-24 ship.
