C-Tier Turbine 4K. Pamela Anderson sci-fi. Kino Lorber also has a release. The C-Tier is expected.
Turbine
dir. Jonathan Mostow
A-Tier Turbine 4K. Kurt Russell thriller from the 90s. A deep-cut catalog title.
Turbine · 4K + Blu-ray
dir. David Cronenberg
Arrow Video 4K with Turbine Media releasing a separate European edition. The packaging got praise for quality supplements and the transfer earned an A-Tier rating. One of those Cronenberg films where people call it their most shameless self-indulgent purchase, which is exactly the right energy for a film about car crash fetishism.
Arrow Video · Limited Edition

A-Tier Kino Lorber 4K. Pierce Brosnan runs from a volcano. Kino has the 4K.
Kino Lorber · 4K + Blu-ray
dir. Terry Gilliam
S-Tier Arrow Video 4K. Terry Gilliam's Hunter S. Thompson adaptation. Arrow's extras package is strong.
Arrow Video · 4K + Blu-ray (United Kingdom)
S-Tier Arrow Video 4K. Cronenberg's Burroughs adaptation with a perfect 5.0 specs score. Arrow's 4K releases have a reputation for better encoding than Criterion's equivalents. The Turbine release also exists for European collectors. Worth knowing this is deeply weird Cronenberg before pressing play.
dir. Brandon Cronenberg
S-Tier Second Sight Films 4K with a 4.5 score. Brandon Cronenberg's body-horror thriller, and one of the most underrated horror films of the 2020s. Second Sight's limited edition had people double-dipping from the basic US release. Someone's copy from Diabolik came signed by the director unexpectedly. Green Room is getting the same Second Sight 4K treatment.

The Walmart steelbook got attention for its artwork, and not in a good way. Multiple comments flagged it as AI-generated art, with spider legs that don't add up. The film itself is fun but lightweight, and most people paired it with Nosferatu as a double feature pick rather than buying it on its own merits.

dir. Bernardo Bertolucci
A dramatic history of Pu Yi, the last of the Emperors of China, from his lofty birth and brief reign in the Forbidden City, the object of worship by half a billion people; through his abdication, his decline and dissolute lifestyle; his exploitation by the invading Japanese, and finally to his obscure existence as just another peasant worker in the People's Republic.
