The transfer confused people because the fine grain from Kodak 50D stock looks almost like digital noise reduction to untrained eyes. It is not. Same stock as Titanic, and both looked suspiciously clean in 4K. Once people understood the film stock, the consensus shifted to calling it the best Tarantino 4K, with Pulp Fiction second.
