A-Tier Criterion Collection 4K. David Lynch's small-town nightmare. One person's 4K disc was mislabeled as Trainspotting, which is either a quality control issue or the most Lynchian thing that's ever happened to a physical disc.

Kino Lorber's 4K UHD dropped January 2023 with a new 2022 HDR/Dolby Vision master from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative. The disc is UHD100, which is rare for a catalog title and shows in the bitrate. The rest of the Death Wish series is still Blu-ray only, so this is the only entry collectors can get on 4K for now.

Available on 4K only via Warner's 7 Film Collection boxset from September 2025. The remaster is a clear visual upgrade over the Blu-ray, with the original theatrical mix included alongside a new Atmos pass that adds unfamiliar sound effects. No new commentary or deleted scenes despite the director helping with the remaster.
