A-Tier Paramount 4K from 2019, upscaled from a 2K digital intermediate so the resolution bump is modest. The Dolby Vision HDR is good, especially during the compound attack at night where the gunfire and explosions have actual detail instead of blown-out white. Shot on a mix of film and digital. The Best Buy steelbook has been hard to find and goes in and out of stock. Don't expect extras, it's literally just a digital copy.

A-Tier 4K. The most divisive Iron Man sequel but the Best Buy exclusive steelbook still gets collected alongside the others. Mondo art is reportedly coming.

Shout's 4K edition has been floating around discount channels, and if you missed it at full price that's probably the move. Joe Carnahan's Alaska survival thriller translates well to the format, with stark outdoor photography and an Atmos mix that puts the wind and wolf sounds uncomfortably close.

Sony is finally giving Zemeckis' twin towers wirewalking film the 4K treatment, due May 19. The vertigo-inducing finale was built for HDR and wide color, and pairing it with Man on Wire makes for a solid Philippe Petit double feature.
