The extras package is one of Criterion's more loaded in recent memory, with a Rupert Friend essay reading and a booklet styled like the magazine itself.

Universal dropped this on 4K fast, July 29, 2025, which is unusual for a Wes Anderson title. Extras are thin compared to a Criterion treatment, just a four-part making-of. Collectors are split, with some buying now and others holding out for a future Criterion 4K the way Moonrise Kingdom eventually got one.

S-Tier Warner Bros. 4K. The disc menus load straight to the play screen with no ads or warnings, which is something every 4K should do. Amazon returns are a known issue with this title, people opening the shrinkwrap, taking the 4K disc, and returning it resealed.

The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Spike Lee's Kurosawa remake has a split reception, an 83% RT score on one side and a pile of Spike fans calling it one of his worst on the other. A24 put it on 4K today via their own shop, which usually means strong packaging and a smaller press run. Day one if you collect Spike, wait for caps if you're on the fence.
