Sony's 4K of the 2016 reboot dropped Oct 11 2016 as a 4D+3D Extended Edition with HDR10, adding 17 minutes and a 3D Blu-ray. The standalone went OOP within a couple of years and trades secondhand only. Sony's 2024 Ghostbusters Ultimate Collection box gathered the original four films and skipped this one, so franchise completionists have to source the 2016 disc separately.

Paramount put this on 4K in March 2018, upscaled from a 2K DI with a Dolby Vision push. It's the only physical 4K release and shows up in Gruv bundles for $10 to $15 USD. The film itself split audiences at release and the 4K demand reflects that.

Preorder is live on Gruv, timed to the 15th anniversary and the cast's Oscar appearance. 'In a 3 for $39 USD deal by Black Friday if not far earlier' is the honest community read. Easy skip unless you need it day one.
