S-Tier Arrow Video 4K. Arrow and Kino Lorber both released versions of the Dollars trilogy on 4K, and the Arrow discs are the ones to get. The Italian 4Kult versions also exist but opinions are mixed on how they compare.

Warner put this on 4K as part of the Kubrick catalog, and it's also in the Columbia Classics set. The B&W HDR gives the war room scenes deeper blacks, though the gains show up more in motion than in frame grabs. Columbia Classics is the better value if you don't already own the box.

S-Tier Arrow Video 4K. Mario Bava invented the giallo template with this one in 1964, and the Arrow limited edition is the way to own it. The bold color lighting and set design are the whole appeal on disc. Copies have turned up at Disc Replay for around $39.99 USD, which is a good price for an Arrow LE. If you like Argento, this is the film he was ripping off.

S-Tier Criterion 4K. Kalatozov's Cuban propaganda film with those impossible long takes that Scorsese says would have changed his career if he'd seen them earlier. Criterion licensed this from Milestone's fine-grain positive kept in the US, which matters because the Russian trade embargo means no more Mosfilm titles are coming for the foreseeable future.

S-Tier Paramount 4K. George Cukor's 1964 musical with Audrey Hepburn, and the disc scores a perfect 5.0 overall. It's considered part of the holy trinity of Super Panavision 70 films on 4K alongside 2001 and Lawrence of Arabia.

The French resistance however wants to stop them from stealing their national treasures but have received orders from London that they are not to be destroyed. The station master, Labiche, is tasked with scheduling the train and making it all happen smoothly but he is also part of a dwindling group of resistance fighters tasked with preventing the theft. He and others stage an elaborate ruse to keep the train from ever leaving French territory.
