The Lionsgate steelbook with lenticular slipcover is an Amazon exclusive that has restocked a few times through Please Rewind. Collectors who own it tend to recommend it enthusiastically.

Warner S-Tier 4K. The Green Mile steelbook kept selling out at Gruv and getting restocked, with people stuck on backorders for weeks. The Darabont/King emotional gut-punch lands differently at this resolution, and the HDR gives the prison interiors depth the old Blu-ray flattened.

The 4K existed before this, buried inside the Luc Besson 9-film box set from Sony last November. Both the 148-minute US cut and the 158-minute international version, Dolby Vision, Atmos. Now Gaumont is giving it a proper standalone release in June with a steelbook illustrated by Flore Maquin and a wild Fnac-exclusive 6-disc edition that includes a vinyl soundtrack and a 232-page making-of book. The big question for importers is subtitles. The film was shot in English, but French releases have a history of forced French subs or swapped opening sequences. English subs are listed on the French Amazon page, which is encouraging. Sony holds the US rights and StudioCanal has the UK, so a Region A standalone may or may not follow. Collectors who grabbed the Besson box already have the disc, but anyone waiting for a single release finally has a date.

The Titans of Cult release uses the same disc as the standard, so you're paying purely for the packaging. The Animatrix still has no 4K release and probably never will.

Announced only as they were preparing to play two nights at nearby behemoth Wembley Stadium that same month, it saw a small crowd of 1800 lucky fans treated to an intimate show in which the band eschewed their big hits in favour of rarely heard gems. This was a gig with many firsts; songs included Saint of Me, I Got the Blues and Brand New Car, while Melody was performed for the first time since 1977 and Moon Is Up brought to the stage for the only time in the band’s live career. Sheryl Crow, who opened the show, joined the band for a special rendition of Honky Tonk Women. As Mick Jagger shouted from the stage that night “If you want to see the hits, go to the big place down the road”. As promised, they didn’t disappoint.
